Transport Summit Holds Friday

All arrangements are complete for the successful hosting of the second edition of the JustNet Transport Summit, scheduled for Friday, October 23, 2026, at Providence Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.

The summit, organised by JustAlive Communications Limited, publishers of JustNet News, will bring together key stakeholders in the transportation, energy and trade sectors to examine emerging challenges and opportunities for building a resilient transport and mobility system.

Themed: ‘Navigating Global Disruptions and the Road Ahead: Mobility, Energy and Trade Facilitation for a Resilient Future,’ the summit is expected to provide a platform for industry leaders, policymakers, regulators and private-sector operators to discuss strategies for strengthening transportation infrastructure, improving energy security and facilitating trade amid evolving global economic challenges.

Speaking on their preparedness, Mrs Pearl Ngwama, Chief Executive Officer of JustAlive Communications Limited and organiser of the event, said they had completed all necessary arrangements, expressing confidence that the summit would provide meaningful discussions and actionable recommendations for developing Nigeria’s transportation sector.

According to Ngwama, key personalities expected at the summit include the Chairman of the occasion, Enisuoh of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited; transport and aviation expert Richard Aisuebeogun, PhD; energy-sector stakeholder Thomas Ogungbangbe; and transport industry professional Femi Aiyegbajeje.

The CEO stressed that these experts’ participation was expected to enrich discussions on the intersection of transportation, energy and trade, particularly as global disruptions, rising operational costs and changing market dynamics continue to shape the mobility industry.

The summit, she said, would also examine the need for stronger collaboration among government agencies, regulators, investors and private operators to address structural challenges in the transport value chain and promote sustainable growth.

Organised as a platform for policy dialogue and industry engagement, the second edition of the JustNet Transport Summit is expected to generate practical insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, resilience and competitiveness across Nigeria’s transportation and related sectors.

With all arrangements in place, the organisers expressed optimism that the summit would achieve its objectives and give participants opportunities to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and explore solutions to the challenges confronting the industry.
