We welcome competition on Kaduna route, says Medview chief
Nigeria’s flag carrier airline, Medview today extended it wide route network as the airline flagged off its operations to Kaduna.
Fielding questions from reporters at the Kaduna Airport, Executive Director/Head of Engineering, Alhaji Lukman Animashaun said the decision of the airline to expand its network to Kaduna was to ease the pains of travellers in that axis.
He said, “The flight is billed to depart Lagos by 7.30 am and arrive Kaduna at 8.30 am, and thereafter depart for Abuja at 9.10 am. The opening of the Kaduna route brings to eight the number of domestic network the airline operates. Others are Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Yola, Kano and Maiduguri.”
Animashaun disclosed that the selling point of the carrier timely scheduled operations, hinting that when it comes to time consciousness, his airline ranks highest.
He further stated that competition on the Lagos-Kaduna route would not deter it from operating and offering quality services.
He said what matters to an airline was not the number of operators in a route, but the quality of service offered.
The airline chief noted that Medview was propelled by the need to offer a window for Nigerians to have more options in their choice of carriers in facilitating their business and educational pursuits as well as other concerns.
“That is why Medview Airlines is tapping into this window to provide the best services to facilitate such movement across the states.
‘’Another angle to the business is that we want to make the airline the carrier of choice to move goods across the countries,” he added.
