To monitor the effectiveness of the safety recommendations made by the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) has inaugurated a safety committee. Members of the committee are drawn from AIB, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the Ministry of Transportation and the industry.
