“Helicopter hasn’t gotten many players; you have a market share that is not fully explored. You are already in the right direction and whatever support you   need government will support you in your business so that you can render your services and we will do that for free. Just be sure you play within the law;   you can be rest assured that you will have our approval”, said the Minister.

OBA Aviation is a renowned airline with track record in helicopter business operating in several countries . The firm has secured licence to replicate same in Nigeria aviation sector.

The Managing Director of Omni Blu Aviation Services Limited, Capt. Sunny Adegbuyi described the visit as historic for the aviation firm.

“We are a brand new company coming together to invest millions in dollars in to aviation industry and we are going in to helicopter service. So its proper to meet the Minister to let him know our team and what we are set out to achieve and solicit his support”, he said.

Speaking on the firm’s attraction to helicopter services, Capt. Adegbuyi said the team was motivated by dearth of enough players in helicopter operations.

“Generally, we are in the whole of aviation industry business. But right now there is a niche in helicopter world. The attraction is helicopter industry is big and there are no enough players in there, so we are coming in at the right time.   We will be commencing operations very soon.

“As we speak, we have two helicopters in Lagos one of them is with an oil company oil  and one is a back-up . You know we don’t play with safety and quality of service. We will make sure we have everything fully in place “, Adegbuyi said.
