FAAN Assures of Safety: As Nigeria Celebrates Independence
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has assured air travellers and other airport users of safety, security and comfort at her airports across the nation, as Nigeria celebrates her 57th independence anniversary.
According to the General Manager, Corporate Affairs of the Authority, Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, in anticipation of the annual surge in passenger traffic that is usually the experiece during this celebration, all necessary safety and security facilities and arrangements needed to ensure the seamless facilitation of travellers have been put in place at the airports.

Her words, “Our aviation security, fire and other operations officers at the airports are fully ready to play host to our highly esteemed guests, who would be travelling through our network of airports to celebrate with Nigeria.”
While wishing the nation a happy independence anniversary celebration, she stated that FAAN remains committed to her core values of safety, security and comfort.
