Dana partners 2016 annual Teen Empowerment summit

As part of efforts towards supporting youths and teens in their entrepreneurial drive, Dana Air has called on youth to avail themselves of the opportunities that the Annual Teens Empowerment conference is offering.
The annual conference comprises of sessions on leadership, entrepreneurship, Career Discovery, and personal development and Dana Air is the official airline sponsor for the event scheduled for 23-24 of June, at Baze University, Abuja.
According to Accountable Manager of Dana Air, Mr Obi Mbanuzuo, ‘’we are pleased to partner ATEC towards empowering the youths and teens of our dear country. No nation can achieve sustainable growth and development without the active participation of the youth.’’

 Obi said Dana Air is not just in business to make profit but to positively impact its community.  “At Dana Air, we will continue to support initiatives like the Annual Teen Empowerment Conference,  which is not just aimed at creating a brighter future for our teens and youths but building a generation of responsible leaders and worthy role models, who will make a difference in our nation.’’ he added.
Youth Development Strategist, Annual Teens Empowerment Conference, Mr Ojoniyi Babatunde expressed appreciation to the management of Dana Air for supporting this year’s Conference.
“This gesture goes to show that Dana Air is a responsible corporate citizen with a genuine concern for the development of young people, and the nation at large”, Ojoniyi remarked.
‘’This conference not only celebrates the achievements of the 1200 students involved, it demonstrates the part dreams play in realizing personal and professional goals.’’ The conference will also inspire our young people who often times don’t have the chance to be exposed to higher level of knowledge and opportunities. We want to give our young adults the tool to become great achievers and make their dreams a reality.’’
During ATEC 2016, the students will be inspired to expand their dreams and explore the future as they learn with their peers from great speakers, stars, leaders, entrepreneurs and career counselors.
They will also have the opportunity to see, first-hand, the results of people who turned their dreams Into careers.
Some of the guest speakers for 2016 are recording artist Bez ldakula, Julius Akinlami (ELENU comedian), Gabrielle Jordan (14 year-old US speaker/entrepreneur), Benita Okojie (recording artist/OAP), Brandon Iverson (17year-old US speaker/entrepreneur), Irene Bangwell (Teen speaker),Chinyere Obi-Obasi (Author /Public Speaker) , Dr Ty Richardson (US), Paul Alaje (career/financial Speaker), Tejiri Chunu (career speaker), Mlcheal Oleru (tech speaker) and, of course, Jordan William (17year-old US speaker/entrepreneur).
