COURT GRANTS BAIL TO NAMA MD, OTHERS.

*CASE ADJOURNED TO APRIL 26

Justice Babs Kuewumi of the Federal High Lagos today granted N20m bail to each of the officials of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) accused of N6.9billion fraud.

The Managing director of NAMA; Ibrahim Abdulsalam,  director of Finance,  Clara Aliche, Acting General Manager, Procurement Muyiwa Adegorite, his wife, Joy, General Manager Finance,  Segun Agbolade were led into Court six at about 11.45am where prosecuting and defence counsels argue their cases for bail.

Journalists had a hectic time in a bid to gain entrance to cover proceedings. The crowd spilled over the corridor of the first floor and the stair case.

Officials of NAMA thronged the court to show support for their embattled MD as they waved to the group as they were led out of the court at about 2pm.

The matter was however adjourned till April 26, 2016 where it would be ascertained if the accused had met the bail conditions. They were however driven away to Kirikiri Prison.
