Air Peace Transitions From Occasional Charters To Monthly Non-Stop Flights To The Caribbean
In what appears to be a major milestone for trans-Atlantic connectivity, Nigeria’s flag carrier airline, Air Peace, has indeed solidified its presence in the Caribbean, transitioning from occasional charters to a more structured monthly commercial schedule.

This initiative makes Air Peace the first airline in West and Central Africa to offer nonstop flights to the Caribbean, significantly reducing travel time by avoiding traditional layovers in the United States or the United Kingdom.
The service primarily links Lagos and Accra to Antigua and Barbuda (V.C. Bird International Airport) and Barbados (Grantley Adams International Airport)
There are also plans/connections involving Jamaica (Montego Bay) and Trinidad & Tobago
Currently operating as a monthly scheduled service to operate with Boeing 777, which offers a multi-class configuration (First, Business, and Luxury Economy).
The airline said passengers can fly from around the region into Lagos and connect to the Caribbean using the following schedule:
Lagos → Antigua: 06:00 – 15:00
Antigua → Barbados: 16:30 – 17:50
Barbados → Antigua: 13:00 – 14:20
Antigua → Lagos: 15:50 – 01:50 (+1)
With Return flights schedule:
Barbados → Antigua: 13:00 – 14:20
Antigua → Lagos: 15:50 – 01:50 (+1)
Lagos → Antigua: 06:00 – 15:00
Antigua → Barbados: 16:30 – 17:50
According to the airline’s management, this underscores Air Peace’s commitment to bridging continents and fostering stronger economic, cultural, and tourism ties between Nigeria and the Caribbean.
The service provides convenient, reliable, and competitive travel options for passengers across both markets.
Tickets for the Lagos–Antigua–Barbados route are now available across all Air Peace booking channels and your usual travel agencies. Passengers are encouraged to book early to secure preferred travel dates.
