First aircraft lands in Abuja weeks after runway repairs
Breaking news:
The first aircraft has landed on the N5.5b rehabilitated Abuja airport runway.
The airplane belonging to The Nigerian Police with registration 5N-HAR airlifted the Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika to the airport from Kaduna at 11.05am.

Ethiopian Airways is expected to land at noon.
Sirika said he was happy that the project finished in record time.
