The National Union of air Transport Employees (NUATE) has concluded plans to picket Skycare Catering Services (ASL) to protest what the union described as “inhuman, unjust and unlawful” condition of work as the aviation company.

The group stated that such conditions include but not limited to employment without employment letters, no terms of engagement or conditions of service, arbitrary terminations, victimisation of the basis of joining and holding office 1 a trade union, refusal to recognise a registered trade union and other forms of enslavement.

NUATE further stated that all these actions contravene various Nigerian laws.
